Why do we add the beehive to our gardin?! All year long (for us) but for the season of gardening (spring to winter) we are having 1,000s of polinators swarning your jardin at any given time... just imagine the fertility!!!

beehive detail

Our topbar beehive is made of pine, spruce, and douglas fir, as available. We use stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers for leg fasteners and natural corks for bee opening stoppers. All parts are finished with natural linseed oil for protection of the hive and safe for the bees.

Our bars use peak shaped comb guides for natural comb building! While we use a veil, jacket and glovesl, we have seen, at our local Beekeeper Assn., beekeepers handling comb and hives without any protective gear or smokers at all... WHY?!! Because bees kept in the natural top bar beehives are friendly and non-aggressive. Happy bees = happy beekeepers!

Did I mention that you get HONEY and Bees Wax?!!!
